Gary Wayne Zumwalt, 59, a resident of Deming passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 10, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces. Cremation has been entrusted to Baca’s Mimbres Crematory.
Gary was born on March 21, 1962, in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by his 3 children and 4 grandchildren. Gary enjoyed fishing and spending time with his friends and family.
He will be missed by his 3 daughters, Amber Zumwalt of Deming and her children Gauge, Silas, and Daphne, Christina Zumwalt and her significant other Randall of Bossier, LA, and Courtney Lawson and her spouse James and their daughter Elizabeth also of Bossier, LA; 2 brothers, Dennis Zumwalt and Phil Hobbs, as well as his extended family and many great friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Beverly Zumwalt.
