Gary T. Allen, age 90 of Vesper passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center.
Gary was born on April 24, 1932 in Bliss, Idaho to Norvel and Marguerite (Thorp) Allen. He married Mary Grimm in 1967 in the town of Winnemucca, Nevada.
Gary worked as a manager for Consolidated Papers, Inc. Kraft Division until his retirement in 1990.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, and antelope hunting in Montana with his sons and grandsons. He also liked horse racing, bowling and stock car racing. He was an active member of the Elk’s Club for many years, and loved spending time with his family.
Gary is survived by his loving wife; children: Jerrold (Brenda), Marsha (Calvin), Kelvin (Kerry), Gordon (Elizabeth), Ben, and Leslie; grandchildren Scott, Brian, Keshla, Brandon, Rick, Misty, Danny, Gary, Brad, Cody, Jamie, and Brett; 20 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Tommy and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, sisters, brother-in-law, two granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.
