Gary L. Stancombe Sr., 65, of Bedford, passed away on Thursday August 29, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his family. Gary was born February 4, 1948 in Bloomington and was the son of Lawrence Stancombe and Edith Drake. He was a truck driver for Venture Logistics.
Survivors include his wife Anna (Hitchcox) Stancombe of Bedford, son Gary Stancombe Jr. of Bloomington, two step daughters Brandy (James), Nikki (Devin), step son Bud (Lacey), five grandchildren, one great granddaughter and 5 step grandchildren, along with 4 sisters, Donna Drake, Debbie Drake, Loretta Fox, and Judy Stancombe all of Bloomington, brother Danny Drake of Bloomington, and his traveling companion Bear his dog. He was preceded in death by his parents.
