Gary S. Waters, age 81, passed away July 18, 2022 in Columbia Falls, MT. He was born March 9, 1941 in Des Moines, IA.
Gary served our country as a member of the Marine Corps. He had a passion for photography. Gary loved animals, especially birds and was always around cats and dogs. He also loved sports, especially football. He was drawn to the Flathead County because of his love for the outdoors, mountain climbing and camping. Gary was a passionate observer of freight trains and met many friends through his attraction to locomotives.
Gary is survived by his significant other, Donna Fucci. He is also survived by a beloved sister, Pat Brown, two half-brothers, Greg and Kevin Waters and three daughters, Tammy Peters, Tracey and Scotty Waters.
Gary fought Parkinson’s and Multiple System Atrophy for many years and although the disease caused many limitations to do the things he loved, he always lived with hope and a love of life. Gary was very kind and was someone to be remembered. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him and loved him.
