Gary Russell Fanning, 75, of Milford, beloved husband of Valerie (Radecki) Fanning, passed away on November 10, 2022. Born on July 10, 1947 in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Thomas and Pearl (Stowe) Fanning.
Gary proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He also served the City of Bridgeport as a professional fire fighter. Gary was an avid fisherman as well.
In addition to his loving wife, Valerie, Gary is survived by his children, Gary Fanning and Matthew (Teri) Fanning; his granddaughters, Ryan Nicole, Nora Anne, and Audrey Mae; his siblings, George (Arlene) Fanning, Audrey Andes, Judith Maggi, and Patricia (Jim) Stephen; and his many nieces and nephews.
