Born in El Paso, Texas, on September 13, 1946, he was the son of Frederick Phelan Parrish and Betty Jane Edson Parrish. Serving during the Vietnam War, Gary was a Veteran of the U. S. Air Force stationed in Thailand. Preceded in death by his father, and son, Nicholas Parrish, Mr. Parrish is survived by his mother, Betty Parrish; wife, Amelia Parrish; daughter, Cagney M. Parrish; son, Gary Parrish, Jr.; grandchildren, Cain, Hailey, and Brianna; sisters, Judi Burr and Nancy Beeson.
