Berlin Center – Gary R. Batman, age 59, of Berlin Center passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013 after an extended illness. Gary was born August 25, 1953 in Salem, Ohio, the son of Russell and Wilma (Liber) Batman. He was a member of Berlin Center United Methodist Church. He attended Western Reserve High School and graduated from Choffin Career Center in Machine Trades. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and NASCAR. Gary is survived by his daughter, Hope Batman and grandsons, Justin, Bo and Nathaniel of Salem; his sisters, Darleen (Roy) Carson of Berlin Center and Gail Bortz of Northville, Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.
