Gary was born on November 15, 1944 in Wisconsin Rapids to Norman and Helen Stone. He was a machinist at Wisconsin Motors during his working career. He honorably served his country as a member of the United States Army.
He was an active member of the YMCA, enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, and politics.
He is survived by his son: Norman Stone; mother: Helen (Thurber) Stone daughters: Candice (Heidi) Miller (Stone), and Chrystal Stone; sister: Karen Nigh; and several other family and friends.
Gary was predeceased by his father, Norman R.; brother: Gene Stone; sisters: Patricia Baker, and Joyce Swartout; and great-granddaughter: Maddie Stone.
