Gary M. Sanders, 69, passed away Monday Jan. 5, 2015 in Truskavets, Ukraine.
He was a resident of Greenwood. Gary was born Feb. 13,1945 in Sonora, Kentucky to Sherman and Dora (Sharp) Sanders.
He was a decorated U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was employed with Walmart for 10 years working at the paint counter.
Survivors include two children, Gary Sanders Jr. of Boggstown and Laura M. Sanders of Greenwood, three sisters, Peggy Sanders and Sandy (Paul) Fisher-Keller both of Greenwood and Barbara (Nick) Guy of Fairland, brother, Jeff (Jenise) Sanders of Indianapolis, nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Patricia Reed.
