Gary M. Pennington, age 73, of Big Brushy Road, Morehead, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.
Born August 13, 1947, in Grayson, he is the son of Maxine Horton Pennington of Morehead and the late Lowell Pennington, Sr.
On July 3, 1971, Gary was united in marriage his wife of almost 50 years, Jenetta L. Pennington, who preceded him in death on May 25, 2020.
In addition to his mother, Gary is survived by his daughter, Mary Kegley and husband Brad of Georgetown; his son, Scotty Pennington and wife Blain of Louisville; and his four grandchildren, Hunter Kegley of Georgetown and Parker, Channing and Hadley Pennington of Louisville.
Other survivors include nine brothers and sisters: Wendell Pennington and wife Marilyn of Louisville, Lowell Pennington, Jr. and wife Judy, Julia McClurg and husband Lee, Randy Pennington, Sr.
