Survivors include his sons; Shad wife, Crystal Painter and Jeff Tomlinson; father; Robert Eugene Painter; sisters, Victoria Terry Dayton and Robin Chi Lau; grandchild; Portia and four nieces and one nephew. The family wants to give special thanks to his great friend Chris Edwards.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Barber Painter; and mother, Norma Jean Wassom Painter.
