Gary Lamont Matthews passed away in Bridgeville Delaware on Sunday March 20, 2016 at the age of 68 after a short, but hard fought battle with Cancer. Gary is lovingly remembered by his wife Sandee, son Kevinn, both of Tulsa, OK and his sisters and brothers of Delaware.
Gary was born on March 16, 1948. He was the son of the late William Tolbert Matthews and Mary K. Coverdale. Gary received his early education in the Delaware School system. After receiving a National Defense Service Medal and a Honorable Discharge from the US Army, Gary earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of Tulsa. Gary was a loving husband and father Gary enjoyed coaching sports and had a fondness for dogs.
