Mr. Gary Kenneth Hills, 69, of Greensboro died at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 after a brief illness.
A native of Middleton, CT, he was the husband of Danelle Tillman Hills, who survives and the son of Kenneth L. Hills and Sarah Ekins Hills, both deceased. Mr. Hills was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and retired from Avery Dennison & L and E Packaging. He was an amateur radio operator, a member of the Burlington Amateur Radio Club, and lifetime member of the American Amateur Radio League. He loved all animals, arts, crafts and all kinds of music. He was also a professional photographer.
In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include a brother, Christopher W. Laughlin, Sr. and wife Patty of Jackson Springs, NC; nephew, Christopher W. Laughlin, Jr. of Jackson Springs, NC; and many cousins. He is also survived by his beloved cat, Nicholas.
