Gary J. “Joe” Orme, 65 of Maysville passed away Saturday September 6, 2014 surrounded by his family at Hospice Care Center at Kenton Pointe after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a retired 40 year employee of Emerson Power Transmission and a member of the Mt.
Joe was born in Sardis on September 28, 1948 son of the late Orville L. “Zorie” & Kathleen Culp Orme.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Anna Douglas Orme. Three daughters, Sandy Brown of Maysville, Andrea (James) Duncan and Cheri (Shane) McCord both of Ewing; five grandchildren, Joseph, Caleb and Isaac Brown, Jacob Duncan and Sean McCord. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Owen Wayne Orme.
