Gary Holladay, 76, of Anderson, passed away on December 29, 2017 at Community Hospital in Anderson. He was born on March 1, 1941 in Hymera, Indiana and resided most of his life in Anderson.
Gary graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1959. After retirement, he loved to refinish furniture, was a fan of all types of racing, enjoyed westerns and Native American artifacts, and especially loved his wife’s cooking.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Angela Holladay; children, Chris (Marci) Holladay of Virginia Beach, VA, Debbie (Bill) Ritchey of Dayton, OH, Kevin (Jesska Pinyon) Holladay of Anderson, Greg Holladay of Virginia Beach, VA, and Jason Glass of Anderson; grandchildren, Alison, Matt, Isabel, and Anastasia Holladay, Helen Ritchey, and Devin Glass.
Also surviving are his siblings, Anthony Holladay, and Rita Chambers, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and James Holladay; grandson, John Michael Ritchey; and sisters, Donna Fraizer and Norma Horton.
