Gary Gene Curry, 66, of Franklin, died on Sunday, March 5, 2017, in Indianapolis.
Gary was born on November 4, 1950, to Gene Curry and the late Coralee Cope. He attended Southport High School.
He enjoyed his family, being retired, and NASCAR. Sitting around a campfire, while camping, is where he was most content. Gary was a proud member of the White River Township Jaycees.
He is survived by his wife, Janet (Laudick) Curry of Franklin, five children, Dennis Summers of Stilesville, Jason Summers of Indianapolis, Jared Curry of Florida, Gwendolyn (Scott) Poynter and Grant (Erin) Curry both of Indianapolis, his father, Gene (Pauletta) Curry of Indianapolis, one sister Teri Tucker of Whiteland, one brother, Jerry (Nikki) Curry of Florida, and five grandchildren; Railyn Poynter, Preston Curry, Zaydan Poynter, Gavin Curry, and Nicole Summers.
Gary was preceded in death, by his mother, Coralee Cope and a son, Jason Curry.
