Gary Wayne Fisher, 71, of Indianapolis passed away September 1, 2016. He was born June 24, 1945 in Kingston, TN to the late Coy Wilson and Irene Lillian Fisher. Gary married Sandra Harris on February 9, 1962. He was a self-employed carpenter for many years.
Gary is survived by his wife Sandra Fisher; children Jay D.(Susan) Fisher, Kari L.(Gregg) Miller, Coy E.(Anita) Fisher, Jessie K. (Kevin) Keebler, Sally J. (Patrick) Leonard; sister Barbara Howard; brother Dennis (Diana) Morris; seventeen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. He is preceded in passing by his parents.
A life and legacy celebration for Gary will be from 3-6 p.m., Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Southeast Neighborhood Wheeler Arts Building, 1035 Sanders St., Indianapolis.
