Gary Evan Moore, 75, of Rockford, died Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at his home. Born October 16, 1939, in Freeport he was the son of John Earl and Helen (Babcock) Moore. He married Mary Klentz in 1959. Gary was a lifetime salesman working at Sears, K-Mart, and Montgomery Wards.
Surviving are his wife, Mary of Rockford; his children, Melody (Brad) Jordan, Scott (Patti) Moore, and Kevin (Betty) Moore all of Freeport; one sister, Nancy (Wayne) Weier of Dakota; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
