Gary D. Ferree, 68, of Anderson, passed away on March 10, 2021, at the St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.
He was born on July 10, 1952, in Anderson, Indiana, where he resided most of his life. Gary graduated from Anderson High School in 1971. He worked for two of his family’s businesses, The Posy Flower Shop and Ferree Equipment, and retired from Fiat Chrysler America. He was a member of Bethany Christian Church, UAW Local 371 in New Castle, IN, and UAW Local 1649 in Orlando, FL. Gary loved to garden where he would grow veggies and flowers, liked to watch NASCAR and football, but most importantly he loved to spend time with his family.
Gary is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mary Jane (Brumfield) Ferree; son, Abe D. (Carrie) Ferree; and sisters, Shari (Randy) Collins and Tami (Tom) Morgan. Also, surviving is his brother-in-law, Bill Brumfield; sister-in-law, Susan O. (John) Guajardo; and several nephews, and one niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Dolores Ferree; and brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Pam Ferree.
