Gary D. BrockwayGary Brockway of St. Helen, formerly of Owosso, passed away Sunday, August 28 at his home. He was born to Clarence and Eleanor (Carr) Brockway on January 9, 1944 in married Adelia (Tiny) Dowell on September 2, 1963 and she survives worked in various factories in the Owosso area including Ventrola, Mitchell Bentley and Johnson Controls. In 1996 they moved to St. Helen and he became a real estate appraiser. Gary, ever the entertainer and storyteller, leaves a great legacy of laughter behind him. He was the consummate host and was forever offering food and drink to anyone who darkened his loved his Dowell Family and will be missed for his outrageous ideas, crazy business plans and entertainment on the dance floor. He is a man who truly loved music and his pride and joy was his jukebox with over 16,000 of his favorites on it!Gary also leaves behind a tight knit circle of friends at the Lake who nursed him through the difficult last weeks of his life. It takes being a real friend to have real friends and Marty and Bea, Larry and Judy and Roger and Mary are those kind of real friends-no-real family!
