Garth D. Hickoff, 63, of Hughesville, died peacefully January 3, 2011, at his home.
Garth and his wife, the former Linda J. Pollock, celebrated their 40th anniversary on November 14, 2010.
Garth was President of Structure Manufacturing Works, a steel fabrication company he founded in 1995 in Danville. He graduated from the Williamsport High School in 1965 and from the former Williamsport Area Community College with a degree in Architectural Drafting.
Garth loved auto racing, cars, hunting, fishing, the outdoors and most of all spending time with his family.
Garth lived a successful and honorable life, which had a vast impact on those around him. His humor and spiritedness will be deeply missed by all who knew and love him.
Born September 12, 1947 in Williamsport, he was the son of A. Wayne and Madeline MacDonald Hickoff.
Surviving besides his wife, are a son, Jesse (fiance Nicole Porter) Hickoff of Muncy; daughters, Amanda (fiance George Hetrick) Hickoff of South Williamsport and Rachel (James) Hickoff-Cresko of Williamsport; sisters, J. Arlene (Douglas) Bird of Montoursville, H. Dewane (James) Stuck and Teresa M. Kase, both of Williamsport and Karen J. (Dennis) Diehl of Jersey Shore; a granddaughter, Iris Cresko and his mother-in-law, Eleanor J. Pollock of Montoursville.
