Garry Eugene Duke, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. He was born on December 7, 1956, in Beech Grove to the late Eugene Edward and Ruby Jewel (Barbee) Duke. He married the love of his life, Janet (Smith) Duke, on June 12, 1982, and they spent their honeymoon camping in Brown County and North Carolina; the first of many camping trips in their 40 years of marriage.
Garry graduated from Emmerich Manual High School in 1975 and worked for Kroger in their centralized baking facility for thirty years prior to his disability.
Survivors include his loving wife, Janet Duke; son, Ryan Duke; brother, Anthony (Rita) Duke; and granddaughter, Tashianna Duke. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sherry Duke Spencer.
