Mr. Garry L. “Poogie D” Davis Sr., passed on January 25, 2014 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh NC.
Mr. Davis leaves to cherish loving memories: his loving wife, Barbara Davis of the home; three sons, Garry Lyn Davis Jr, Troy Andrew Davis and Tyvaughn Davis, all of Conneticut; four stepsons, Barandon Taylor and Jimilo Taylor, both of Wilson, NC, Christopher Tomlin of Atlanta, GA and Benjamin Tomlin of Norwalk, Conn.; one step-daughter, Teosha Taylor of Wilson, NC; ten grandchildren; his mother, Hattie Margaret Davis of Wilson, NC; one sister, Linda Isler (Willie) of Wilson; two God-brothers, James Barnes (Joyce) of Wilson NC and Charles Simms of Conneticut; and a host of other relatives and friends.
