Mr. Whitt was a 1962 Butler High School graduate. He was employed with Bellsouth for 34 years and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. His hobbies included fishing and wood working. He was a proud Vietnam veteran as well as an Alabama football fan.
He is survived by his wife: Barbara Whitt; one son: Christopher Whitt; two stepsons: Jeff Myhand and Bryan Myhand; seventeen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; one brother: Donnie Whitt and a host of loving family members and friends.
