Garnett M. Skopal, 82, of Metamora, IL, passed away peacefully at 4:35 pm on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria, IL. She was born on December 24, 1938, in Chicago, IL, to Leonard and Gertrude (Newberg) Hubert. She married Henry W.
Surviving are her husband, Henry of Metamora; four daughters, Mary (Joseph) Vanco of Winfield, IL, Patricia Norgard of Wisconsin Dells, WI, Katherine (Dr. Charles) Nagel of Germantown Hills, IL, and Theresa Skopal of Morton, IL; eight grandchildren, Dane (Lindsey) Norgard, Kiersten Norgard, Brynne Norgard, Cailey Norgard, Matthew (Allison) Haines, Andrew Haines, Emily Vanco, and Grace Vanco; and three great-grandchildren, Kyndall Haines, Owen Haines, and Hazel Norgard. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant granddaughter Anna Rose Vanco.
