Garlen Howard Dawson, 84, of East Brainerd, died on Monday, August 1, 2011. He served in the US Army in WWII, was a loving husband and father, kind, gentle and always willing to help. His son, Donald Dawson, preceded him in death. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 64 years, Chris Dawson; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Janie Dawson, daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Tim White and numerous nieces and nephews.
