Mrs. Gale Wright Arrington, 78, died Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford, MS…Born in Water Valley, MS to the late W. E. Wright, Sr. and Elizabeth Baddley Wright, Mrs. Arrington was the receptionist at Lafayette County High School. She loved her job and her favorite words in life were the words she said the most as she answered the phone, “Lafayette High School.” A faithful member of College Hill Presbyterian Church, Gale loved her church and Sunday school class. Her life was centered on family, church, and work. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Lynn Arrington and a son, Alan Wright “Tank” .. E. Wright, Jr. of Southaven, MS; the joys of her life, Abby Arrington and Austin (Josie) Arrington both of Oxford, MS; and her life-long friend, Jimmy Murphrey of Oxford, MS..
