Charles Gale Reid, 59, of Jacksonville, IL died Monday, June 18, 2012, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville. He was born September 9, 1952, in Jacksonville; the son of Charles Hughes and Dorothy Marie Boatman Reid.
He is survived by a son, Matthew Reid (wife, Sara) of El Paso; a daughter, Taylor Reid of Jacksonville; two grandchildren, Dylan Lowe and Landon Reid, both of El Paso; two sisters, Vickie Clayton (husband, James) of Jacksonville and Becky Browning (husband, Bill Jr.) of Jacksonville; two nieces; three nephews; several cousins; and a special friend, Janie Volk of Mt. Sterling.
