Well known businessman, Gale Glendon Tyrrell, 85 of Camp Verde, formerly of Flagstaff passed away May 15, 2008. He was born May 31, 1922 at Beaver Crossing, Nebraska.
Gale served in the United States Navy in WWII. He owned and operated Tyrrell Chevrolet which is now known as Tyrrell-Marxen Chevrolet-Cadillac for 46 years in Flagstaff. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Shriner’s and the Elk’s Lodge.
Gale is survived by his wife Marjorie, step-daughters Jane (Sam) Glorioso of Flagstaff,Nancy Kelly (Cecil Capps) of Nevada, brothers Ivan Tyrrell of Nebraska, Rex (Gloria) Tyrrell of Georgia, nine grandchildren, and six and a half great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Glen and Opal Tyrrell, son Gale Tyrrell Jr., daughter Patricia Tyrrell and brother Neil Tyrrell.
