Miss Gale Arlene Martin, 65, a resident of Lanett, AL passed away Friday, October 17, 2014 at EAMC Lanier Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include three sisters, Carole (Dana) Watkins, Brenda (James) Gregory, Tammy (Ronnie) Merritt; brother, James (Yvonne) Martin, Jr.; special niece, Christalyn Clark; special nephews, Kyle (Brooke) Hudmon, Chase Merritt; aunts, Gladys Jones, Dianne Martin, Gloria Anderson; numerous nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, and a great-great- niece & nephew; special friend, Debbie (Junior) Riddle; and numerous cousins. She was the daughter of the late Arlene Martin and James Roy Martin.
Miss Martin was born in Langdale, Alabama, and was a lifelong resident of the Valley area and had been in declining health for the past six months. She was an avid University of Alabama fan and Atlanta Braves fan. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
