Gaither Dale Rosser, 70, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, passed away in his home on Tuesday, June 23, 2009.
Gaither was born on May 25, 1939, in Asheville, NC to Gaither Adam and Helen Rosser. Upon graduating from Lee H. Edwards High School in Asheville, he attended Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC before serving in the United States Air Force for the next 28 years.
Gaither was an avid photographer, gardener, and history buff. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, classic cinema, and all culinary arts. He was also a Senior Vice Commander of the Disabled American Veterans, Playground Chapter 72, and had his own vending machine business.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gaither Allen, and his sister Therell. He is survived by his sons, Patrick and Galen Rosser, both of Fort Walton Beach, and his loyal Doberman Pinscher, Capone.
