Gail Marie Jumbeck, age 67, of Walker, passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Birchview Gardens in Hackensack from complications from radiation. She was born on January 15, 1951 in Winona, MN the daughter of Bruce and Elaine (Kronabush) Stanton.

Gail was raised in Winona and graduated high school there in 1968. She met Steve Jumbeck and the two were married October 10, 1969 in Enterprise, AL. They later moved back to Winona before Steve’s career of working for the railroad took them to Iowa. Once Steve was retired from the railroad they moved to Benedict, MN where they purchase the Ft. Benedict store. They owned the store for over ten years before selling in 2003 and moving to Traders Bay in 2004. Gail worked for Thrifty White in Walker for six years. She had to stop working when she was diagnosed will cancer in 2010.

The family that Gail joins again are her parents, Bruce and Elaine; and her grandparents, Gladys and Wilford.

Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Steve Jumbeck of Walker; sons, Eric Jumbeck of Walker and Adam (Missy) Jumbeck of Panama City, FL; sisters, Debbie Lipinski of Winona; Vicki Stanton of Winona and Julie Stanton of Rochester, MN; two grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
