She was preceded in death by husband, Roy Edward Scribner; mother, Lois A. Gillette and father, John W. Jones.
Mrs. Jones is survived by children, Gina Hankins, Charlotte, NC, and James and Jennifer Cook, Lawrenceville, GA; four grandchildren, Ashley Paden, Brittany Paden, Ryan Cook, Hailey Cook; and several other relatives and close friends.
Mrs. Jones was born on February 24, 1949 in Washington, DC. She was a retired school bus driver from the Gwinnett County Public School system. Mrs. Jones was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Flowery Branch, GA.
