Gail F. Jackson, age 76 of Buchanan, died Thursday, March 12, 2015 at her home. Gail was born on Dec. 29, 1938 in New Troy, Michigan to Forrest and Agnes (Martin) Briggs. She attended school in New Troy, and graduated in 1957. On Dec. 31, 1956 in Cassopolis, Michigan, she married Howard Lee Jackson. Gail was a very kind, loving and giving person.
She was an avid reader, and had volunteered for many local organizations.She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years Howard Sr., sons Howard Jr.(Sandra) of Stevensville, Steven Jackson and Barry Jackson of Three Oaks, grandchildren; Nicole (John) Sailor, Charlie Jackson, Stephanie (Casey) Brooks, Kayla and Andrew Jackson, and great grandchildren Allissa and Rachel Corak, Caleb Shaw, and Craigon & Carli Brooks.
Also surviving are her two brothers Fred Briggs of Sawyer, Tom Briggs of Eau Clair, sister in law Judy Jackson, and brother in law Dennis Grosse. She was preceded in death by her son Tim, both her parents, daughter in law Barbara Jackson, brothers in law Joe and Bill Jackson, and sisters in law Jan Briggs and Betty Grosse.
