Gail D. Mersinger, nee Otte, 55, of O’Fallon, IL, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2015, surrounded by her family, at her residence. Gail was born on October 24, 1960, in Glendale, MO.
Gail enjoyed spending time in the outdoors with her family and friends fishing, camping, and hunting. She also enjoyed being around her grandchildren, reading, and watching Jeopardy. She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Otte; her stepfather, Curtis Hall; and granddaughter Sophia Laws.
Gail is survived by her husband, Ott Mersinger of O’Fallon, IL; mother, Donna Hall, nee Schwinke of Glendale, MO; stepmother, Madonna Otte of Joplin, MO; children, Stephanie Laws of Belleville, IL, Jessie (John) Schaumleffel of O’Fallon, IL, Christopher (Crystal) Laws of North Fork, VA, Jon Laws of Salem, MO, Tricia Laws of O’Fallon, IL, Valerie (Steve) Bringer of Granite City, IL, Angelia (Stephen) Brock of Belleville, IL, Philip (Jen) Mersinger of Belleville, IL, Kimberly (Jon) Williams of O’Fallon, IL, and Josh (Allie) Mersinger of Belleville, IL; sisters, Debie Orban of Alton, IL, and Kathy (Earl) Hopkins of Joplin, MO; brothers, Rob (Debbie) Walker of Joplin, MO, and Scott (Victoria) Walker of St. Charles, MO; 28 grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
