Gail Burns was born April 16, 1960 in Colorado Springs, CO. She passed at home on May 6, 2017, at the age of 57, after a long battle with cancer. Gail is survived by her son, Zackary Burns (Keesa); and granddaughter, Lilyona; her sisters, Barbara Dawson and Betty Cleveland; her brothers, Ralph Murdock and Donald Murdock.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Esther Murdock and brother Bobby Murdock.
Gail was a native from Colorado Springs and graduated from Coronado High School. She was a hard worker and showed that through a variety of jobs throughout her life. She was an amazing cook and loved to bake and was also an avid crafter that included sewing and crocheting. Receiving tasty treats and beautiful crafts will be something her family and loved ones will miss greatly along with her awesome sense of humor.
Gail had a strong belief in her Catholic religion and that showed when she took on four godchildren to love and teach. This belief is what helped her stay strong, courageous and hopeful through her battle.
