Gabriel “Gabe” Dalton Jenks, 19, returned home to live with his Heavenly Father on December 21, 2022.
Gabe was born in Boise, Idaho on July 21, 2003 to his parents, Carey and Ivy Jenks. He graduated with his GED in 2019 and found joy in working at places where he could interact with others. Gabe was incredibly clever and smart and could outwit just about anyone, which led him to excel in school, work, and anything else to which he applied himself. Gabe loved to make others laugh and did so often with silly antics – from filling his backpack with rocks instead of school books, to using a funny voice and describing in detail the sandwich he could make for you. Gabe loved cooking, listening to music, doing tattoos on himself and others, taking drives and watching movies.
Gabe was preceded in death by his grandparents – Mirl Jenks, Carol Doman and Daniel Dorman.
He is survived and missed greatly by: his parents – Carey and Ivy Jenks; his siblings – Amanda (John) Aristides, Coby (Tennille) Jenks, Chellayne Reniker, Lonnie Jenks, Kristopher Jenks, Annee (Matthew) Grayson, Dominick Jenks, Taha Jenks and Grace Jenks; his girlfriend – Genevieve Brooks; his beloved cat – Monroe; and many other family members and friends.
