Gabriel Becerra of Ogden, tragically passed away in an automobile accident in Nebraska on September 10, 2021, at the age of 32. Gabriel was born on March 24, 1989 in Zamora, Michoacan, Mexico to Alejandro Becerra and Maria Lourdes Garcia.
Gabriel was passionate about anything to do with mechanics and cars. He referred to his garage as his getaway in order to take time for himself and do something that he loved to do which was fixing cars and bumping oldies. He enjoyed expressing his feelings through writing music, poetry and his artistic creativity.
Gabriel was an amazing father. He never wanted to miss a moment with his kids and created many fun memories with them. Often spending time with Melodi and Manuel, going on hikes up in the nearby mountains, swimming in Pineview Reservoir, and taking long walks in the park. Gabriel was their hero and was always there for them. His great example will continue to help his children throughout their lives and he will live forever in their hearts.
Gabriel is survived by his parents, children, siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and close friends.
Services are scheduled for Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 10:00 am in Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th Street, Ogden, Utah.
