G. Mark Reynolds September 3, 1926 – February 6, 2021

G. Mark Reynolds died peacefully in his sleep and went home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 6, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gaylord A. Reynolds; his mother, Martha Davis Reynolds; his wife of 48 years, Billie Jean; his first wife of 21 years, Harriette; his sisters, Arlene Klink and Martha Jane Early; his son, John Reynolds; his stepson, Bob Reidel; his son-in-law, Terry Dabb.

He is survived by his sibling, Rich Reynolds; his son, Thomas Reynolds (Donna) of East Amherst, NY; his daughters, Lynne Dabb of Arcade, NY and Peggy Norris (Lamar) of Port Angeles, WA; stepdaughter, Terry Lyn Cherry (Barney); stepdaughter-in-law, India Reidel of Okeechobee, FL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Mark was born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. He attended Montrose High School where upon graduation he enlisted in the U.S. Naval Reserves for the duration of World War II serving in the Pacific Theater. He returned home and attended Penn State University after marrying his high school sweetheart Harriette. Upon graduation in Agricultural Science with a B.S. he started his career teaching Agriculture and Industrial Arts at Blue Ridge School District, New Milford, PA. In 1956 he went to work for New Holland Farm Equipment Co. as a Sales Representative for the implementing company.

He moved his young family to Western New York and began a career with New Holland representing the company in New York, Florida, and Kentucky. He was a top-tier award-winning sales representative earning national recognition year after year for sales performance achievements. Mark and Billie Jean were married in 1972 and shortly after their marriage, Mark transferred to Florida with New Holland. Mark was a member of the First Baptist Church of Okeechobee, Kiwanis, American Legion, a member and past Master of Warren Lodge #240 F&AM, Montrose, PA, and a former Village Trustee.
