94, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away peacefully on October 22, 2015. Frieda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her loving husband, Monroe, her children, Monroe Jr., Mac, and Timothy, and her sister Cecile Stewart, predeceased her. She is survived by her grandchildren, Kyle and Claire Mendelsohn, and her daughter in law, Jennifer Mendelsohn, and her niece and nephew, Londa Woods, (husband, Hank), and John Stewart. Frieda loved to entertain and travel the world and generously shared that love with her friends and family. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who knew her. Frieda was born in Amarillo, Texas, the daughter of Londa Sides and Frederick Charles McGrath. She grew up in Houston, and was happily married to Monroe Mendelsohn for 33 years. They spent their married life in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Scarsdale, New York, and Houston, Texas. She moved to Scottsdale in 1996 and has been a faithful member of St.
