Fridl Bell, 86, a mother of four and retired trust account specialist for Citibank, died August 17, 2010 in Scottsdale. She was the wife of retired Lt. Colonel Frank A. Bell, now deceased.
Fridl was born in Germany on September 13, 1923, the daughter of the late Otto and Emma (Mueller) Rosch. At the end of World War II, she met Frank Bell and immigrated to the United States, where they were married. Unable to complete her education in Germany due to the war, she later graduated cum laude from Arizona State University. Upon graduation she went to work in the banking industry. She raised four children and helped raise three of her grandchildren. Her family was her greatest joy.
She is survived by three daughters, Arlyn Bell of Mont Clare, PA, Andrea Bell of Los Angeles, CA and Dr. Angela Bell of San Francisco, CA; a son, Dr. M. Moe Bell of Scottsdale; and four grandchildren, Brian, Emily, Elias, and Jackson.
