Fredrick “Bud” Alfred Greco of Westover, WV died peacefully at the age of 88, on December 30, 2018 in Clarksburg, WV.
He was survived by his beloved sister, June Dallas, nieces and nephews, and their families.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Winifred “Lois” Wilt, parents, Michael and Leona Greco, brother, Carmen Greco, and sister, Ulanda DeClue.
“Bud” Greco was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on November 18, 1930. He married the love of his life, Lois, on October 17, 1953. They were blessed with 56 years of marriage, and in that union had a daughter, Roberta Greco (McCoy) who is estranged.
He was a veteran of the Korean War where he served in the United States Army as Private First Class. Bud moved to Morgantown, West Virginia and lived there over 30 years. He spoke often of the wonderful friends and neighbors that he was blessed to have in his life. Bud’s Italian roots certainly helped give him the title of the best cook in our family.
