Fred Cornell, 72, loving husband, father and grandfather passed away suddenly Saturday, November 29, 2014. He had a loving heart and caring gentle hands that cared for many; whether it be cooking a meal, organizing events, holding a hand or using his EMT skills to save a life. He will be missed by many.
Fred was born to George F. and Madeline J. (nee Hartenbach) Cornell in Rochester, Pennsylvania. He was a member of Hillwood Chapel and Norton Grand Squares. He was the chairman of the 2002 State of Ohio square-dance convention.
Preceded in death by parents, he is survived by loving wife of fifty two years Mary Frances, son, Matthew Cornell of Richmond, Texas, daughters, Marcia Cornell of Chardon, Ohio, Margie Ford (Patrick O’keefe) of Green, granddaughters, Katherine Cornell of Richmond, Texas, Meghan and Ashley Ford of Green, Ohio, sisters, Marilyn (Roger) Cook of Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Nancy (Daniel) Morris of Monaca, Pennsylvania, numerous neices and nephews.
