Frederick W. Holler Jr., 90 died in peace Saturday March 11, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia, mother Lois and father Frederick Holler Sr. He was also preceded by his aunt Percie Ellen and uncles Franz and Sewell Van Alstine. Survivors include his children Jennifer and Frederick III, as well as his brother Howard and cousin Cynthia Dunlap. Frederick spent his childhood in Gilmore City before he moved with his family to Ames where he attended high school and Iowa State University.

After graduation he enlisted in the Navy to begin his aviation career. While stationed in Atlantic City and servicing in their test squadron he met Patricia, married and raised a family in southern New Jersey.After leaving the Navy, he worked most of his electrical engineering career at the Radio Corporation of America (RCA) on radar and communication systems. While working at RCA he continued his professional studies and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. After retirement, he was an instrument rated pilot and instructor at an aviation academy, and enjoyed annual trips to Iowa to visit friends. Frederick will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving husband and father, distinguished electrical engineer, patriot, private pilot, amateur radio enthusiast and past association chapter president (K2AA)in southern New Jersey.
