Frederick U. Henderson Jr passed away on February 19 , 2021. Fred was 89 years old. He is now without pain. He was born in Salisbury, MD, and raised in Pocomoke, MD. Son of the late Frederick U. Henderson and Clara Jones Henderson, Fred and his wife Patricia F. Henderson lived at Kirkland Village, in Bethlehem, PA for the last 15 years. Fred was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bethlehem where he helped record the sermons on Sundays for many years. Fred and Pat were also in a K group that meant so much to both of them. Fred and Pat lived in Abington, Pa; Duxbury, MA; Annapolis, MD, and Ocean Pines MD, before moving to Bethlehem, PA. In Abington, Fred was an elder and a deacon at Abington Presbyterian Church. Fred enjoyed gardening, and he was head gardener at Kirkland and in Ocean Pines, MD. Fred also loved to play tennis. For most of his career, Fred sold programable controllers. He graduated from Drexel University with a degree in electrical engineering, and before that, Fred was an Electronics Technician Third Class for the Navy.
Fred is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patricia F. Henderson of Kirkland Village, Bethlehem, PA, his daughter Ellen H. Murgolo of Easton, PA, and his son Andrew W. Henderson and his wife Nibal of Overland Park, KS., his sister Ellen H. Wentzel of Ocean Pines, MD, and his grandchildren, Kathryn Murgolo, Barcelona, Spain, and Thomas Murgolo, Bethlehem, PA, Elias, Moussa and Leila Henderson of Overland Park, KS.
