Fred was born Aug. 7, 1941 in Brunswick to the late John J. and Ella Mae (Haluska) Dudas and served in the U.S. Navy from April 23, 1959 – Aug. 6, 1962. He married the former Rose Marie McElroy on Jan. 5, 1963 and she survives.
