Frederick Louis Wilson, of Cordova, Maryland passed away peacefully at home, on Sunday, April 2, 2017, after a brief illness. He was 82 years of age. Frederick was affectionately called Fred by his family and Gravy by close friends.
Fred was born on November 24, 1934, in Oxford, Maryland to the late Edward Lee Wilson and Lucy Viola Wilson of Cordova, Maryland.
He was educated in Talbot County. Throughout his life, he was employed at Caroline Poultry, Allen Foods and with the Talbot County Public School system.
Fred attended St. Matthews United Methodist Church in Longwoods, Maryland. He is survived by his wife, Estella Murray-Wilson; three sons, Bruce Murray, Rondelle Murray, and Anthony (Anita) Murray all of Philadelphia, PA; one daughter, Wanda Green (Joe) of Denton, MD; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Violice Walker , Frances Wilson, Rosalee Wilson and Phyllis Sample (Jerome), all of Cordova, Maryland; one brother, Marvin “aka” Donnie” Wilson, Sr. of Preston, Maryland, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Fred was preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister.
