Fred Lester Lewis was born in Boise, ID on June 14th, 1932. He died on September 21st, 2010.
As a young man he joined the Navy serving during the Korean War. He married Charlotte Miller and to this nine year union three children were born. Fred then was married 25 years to Georgia Crist. She had two sons. Georgia passed away in 1987.
Fred worked numerous jobs including Ada County Sheriff, self-employed as home repairman, M.K. and retired from the Boise School Dist.
Fred’s granddaughter, Crystal Stovall, wanted to mention that he had a special spot in his heart for his two great-grandsons, T.J. and Austin Street. He taxied them, selflessly, to and from school for three years. Fred’s family wants to thank the V.A. Hospice Program Life Care Center for all their dedication and kindness they showed to Fred during his stay.
Fred is survived by his wife, Wanda; his sister, Betty Russell, brother, Vernon Lewis; his children, Sherrie Marquez, Michael Lewis and Darla Lewis; his granddaughter, Crystal Stovall; his great-grandsons, T.J.
