Frederick Joseph Constantino, 73

Troy Frederick Joseph Constantino, 73, of Griswold Avenue, died Wednesday at his residence.

Born in Troy, he was son of the late Joseph and Rosa Cantelli Constantino. He had resided in Troy all his life and attended Catholic Central High School.

Mr. Constantino was a customer service agent for American Airlines at the Albany Airport for 35 years, retiring in 1982.

He was a member of the American Legion in Wynantskill, Troy Motorboat and Canoe Club and a communicant of Sacred Heart Church. He was an avid pilot and a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and the Experimental Aircraft Association and was constructing an airplane at his home. He served in the Army during the Korean War, in the Armored Division and flew cargo planes.

Survivors include three sons, Frederick J. Constantino Jr. (Imelda A.) of Watervliet, Joseph W. Constantino of Houston, TX and Thomas F. Constantino of Houston, TX; two grandchildren, Kristina M. Constantino of Enterprise, Alabama and Brandon K. Constantino of Pearl Harbor, HI. He was predeceased by a brother, William Constantino.
