Frederick Joseph Cameron, 82, of Anderson formerly of Carmel, IN, passed away on June 3, 2017.
He was born on July 24, 1934, in Needham, Mass. Fred served his country in the Air Force during the Korean War. After his service, he studied at Miami University and Indiana University, graduating with a business degree. He became an entrepreneur and founded several successful businesses.
Fred was a proud member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity and Knights of Columbus.
Fred is survived by his loving spouse of 25 years, Diane (Stearns) Cameron; his children, Mary (Nick) Bartolotta, Dr. Ann Cameron, Katherine (Michael Berger) Cameron, John Cameron, William Cameron; his step-children, William (Rhonda) Kuntz, John (Cindy) Kuntz, and Sally (Hubert) Utt; his brothers, Col. William Cameron, John Cameron; his grandchildren, Patrick Bartolotta, Madeline Bartolotta, Sean Cameron, Dr. Kiley Cameron, Liam Cameron; 5 step grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Dr. Marcella Cameron; the mother of his children, Mary Cameron and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Eleanor (McGrath) Cameron, siblings, Eleanor, Margaret, Mary, Isabelle, Francis, David and Joseph.
